A month of writing – what I like
For a bit of context, I am participating in an online writing course which requires pretty much daily writing for the month of November. It’s a useful (if maybe self-indulgent) bit of discipline for me, so I am putting my qualms aside and trying to go with it. Today’s theme is lists, and the benefits of making them. We have a few topics to choose from. I don’t know if I am profound enough to do a list of what I’ve learned, and listing out all the things I wish for could be depressing so I am going to go with things I like.
- Having a cup of tea or coffee in bed
- Having nothing to do
- Travelling
- The runner’s high
- Bombay Sapphire gin and tonic
- Virginia Woolf
- When the scales go down
- Listening to worldwide radio on the internet
- Goat’s cheese
- Hanging out with my nieces and nephews
- Having a good night’s sleep
- New Zealand
- My globe lamp
- Gardens and flowers
- Going to museums in new cities
- Art
- Captain Cook
- Politics
- Herbs
- Having a tidy house and work space
- Feeling enthusiastic
- Clean sheets
Really nice list. Love the scales, museums and sleep ones too! Oh, and coffee- but anytime actually. I love my coffee!!
Thanks Nirupama! Re your list can I suggest Instagram as a nice addition to your phone?
:OK: 🙂
