The name of this blog started as a joke – I might have been known to express some cranky opinions in the past. In general I try to be positive but I retain the right to complain.

My name is Julie and I live and work in Dublin, Ireland. I travelled as much of the world as was possible a few years ago but am now back in civilian life – working, running and travelling when possible. I ran the Dublin marathon in 2018, 2019 and 2022, and virtual versions in 2020 and 2021. This blog is my record for posterity.
