A great day out – London Landmarks half marathon 3 April 2022

I had a fantastic week in London in April - have been thinking about it ever since, so tonight is as good a night as any to post for posterity. It's dark and gloomy here in Dublin - the usual disappointing Irish 'summer' weather - and it's in no way good for my mood, so I am distracting myself by looking at my numerous photos and getting them ready for posting here. London innit

Here I am at the other end of my week in London, looking out my window at the St Pancras clock tower, and getting ready to go home. I had a fantastic week in London; some running, some working, loads of eating, drinking and reminding myself how fantastic London is. I love Kings Cross - I worked and lived in a pub here many moons ago when I was a student, so it feels familiar, though it has changed a lot, for the better. The night before

I’m off to London in the morning for a half marathon on Sunday. It’s my first flight in years, post Covid, post everything that’s happened. So I think I have everything I need: just need to get through the horrendous queue for security in Dublin airport. I will relax after that, I hope.
