London innit

Here I am at the other end of my week in London, looking out my window at the St Pancras clock tower, and getting ready to go home. I had a fantastic week in London; some running, some working, loads of eating, drinking and reminding myself how fantastic London is. I love Kings Cross - I worked and lived in a pub here many moons ago when I was a student, so it feels familiar, though it has changed a lot, for the better. The night before

I’m off to London in the morning for a half marathon on Sunday. It’s my first flight in years, post Covid, post everything that’s happened. So I think I have everything I need: just need to get through the horrendous queue for security in Dublin airport. I will relax after that, I hope. Hello, it’s me

Seems it's over a year since I updated my poor neglected blog. I noticed in my bio that I have described it as my record for posterity, so I should treat it as such. In a way there's not been much to say about the last year; in another it was an exceptional year of life, given the pandemic and all.
