1st February – new month, new challenge. Run 100 miles over the month. It means running 5 days a week so it’s a definite step-up for me. But I’m happy to be able to do it and it keeps me occupied. I was asked to share my training plan so the link is attached: this plan combines my half-marathon training with the 100 miles.
I got off to a good start, 7 miles yesterday and 3.75 today. I really want to avoid having to run too long in the dark of the evening, so hopefully can keep it to max 4 miles per night during the week. It had been very windy actually all weekend so the runs were challenging enough that way but I survived. Feeling good and grateful for a body that works. Let’s see how the week goes.
