The Castleknock 5k

I am at home today as we are off for a week. Going to Helsinki later in the week so might share a few photos from there. Not enough

No running at all last week, mainly due to work. It was our quarterly reporting time and it’s always busy. I had to work on Saturday and had great intentions of going out on Sunday morning but wine and study commitments intervened. I left work an hour early this evening, taking back some of the time I worked last week, and went out into lovely weather. A different way

It’s a long weekend here and I have to work tomorrow so a run was scheduled for today. I decided to go a different direction than I normally do, as I am rather sick of my usual routes. Will have to get over that though. It makes sense to run around the neighbourhood and not to waste time driving places for short runs. A fine evening

It was a lovely evening in Dublin and I was determined to go out, so I didn’t dilly-dally like I normally do when I got home: was out the door within 15 minutes of getting in after work. A record! I did 3 miles and was home again for the 8 o’clock news on the radio. I even got down on the floor and did some proper hamstring and piriformis stretches. And a side plank. Am on fire!
