I haven’t run in a few weeks; I pulled something in my shoulder and that laid me up but I have also been lazy, and too full of food and drink to run. But I am not beating myself up. Tomorrow is New Years’ Day and I will try and start the new year with a run.
I am running a half marathon in London in March and I did up my training plan for that today. So I will be back on the straight and narrow very soon.
2018 was all about the marathon, in running terms, and I am planning on doing it all again next year with the benefit of experience, so it won’t take over my life as much as it did this year. Well not as much. But as my friend Sharon says – let it take over your life Julie. Thank you 2018. Let’s be having you 2019. Happy new year everyone.
