Tomato face
Tonight’s plan called for hills, so I ran up and down the canal bridge on my regular route. Twice. I finally ventured out in short sleeves tonight – it was 9 degrees but calm so they did help keep me cool on a very pleasant 3 miles. I always enjoy my Thursday evening runs for some reason – I think I feel less pressure than other times, nothing particular to achieve once I tackle a few hills.
What I don’t understand is how the skin on every part of my body is cold when I get home, except for my face, which is red-roaring hot. Every bit of exertion ends up on my face. Not a great look.
I wouldn’t say it’s not a great look. I’d say that’s the look of progress, accomplishment, and another increment closer to your goal. (I was going to say another step closer, but I couldn’t with a straight face — it seemed too much like a bad pun).
Yes you are right – thank you! And I really don’t care what I look like. If I did I would never have started running at all. I actually find most people are stuck in their phones so people aren’t paying attention at all.
Love it. Keep it up
I will! Thanks
